Feel like giving up??
I think we’ve all had those days when you want to slam your head on the desk over and over cuz things aren’t going according to plan.
Or Maybe it’s just me.
Naw, it can’t just be me, can it? Everyone has struggles in their life, right??
Day to day can be a struggle can’t it??
Challenges come up, because we don’t know what we’re doing. Of course we’re competent, but we don’t have the ability to see through a looking glass to show us what will work best.
Almost everyone wants everything to be perfect. So you struggle over how to get it that way. When the fact is…as humans, we’re not perfect. We need to learn first, and, in order to grow.
Learning is messy stuff.
The first attempt at anything is always the most difficult. Well, maybe the second, third, and the fourth might be too. Every accomplishment boils down to how you show up for the task at hand.
The mind is a powerful tool.
It’s almost impossible to change our thinking until you believe you actually have the power to change.
You won’t have the power to change until you’re willing to do what it takes to change.
See why we can get caught on a hamster wheel?
There is a way off though.
Step 1- Ask yourself how you’re showing up. What kind of energy are you bringing to your dilemma?
In my case, my energy level is getting pretty low as I struggle to learn. My energy is so low I can’t do anything but go round and round on that wheel? I realized I’m not bringing a high enough energetic level to create what I want.
New anything- whether thought, or material, will always exist in a higher frequency. It has too, otherwise you’d already have what you want where you’re resonating right now.
Step 2- Stay in the game!! Don’t give up!
My desire has been to get my new website finished and out there.
My challenge is learning a different way of speaking and writing.
My comfort zone is to run off at the mouth filling page after page with all kinds of words.
My wish is to get to the point. Showing you what you can benefit from and how you can achieve results working with me.
I’ve struggled A LOT with the wording. Nothing has gone according to plan because I want everything to be perfect. Even though I know that’s nonsense…. nothing is EVER perfect.
I’m human. I make mistakes.
You will too. It’s the nature of the game.
Have you ever been in a position where “I don’t know how” came out of your mouth??
Or maybe you’ve said “I don’t have the skill set for this kind of project” Whatever your project happens to be.
And then, there’s always the “I need to learn WHAT?? I just can’t go there right now. I’m too tired.” “I’ll get back to it later.” You end up walking away and before you know it two months have gone by. Guilt sets in since you haven’t accomplished what you thought you should.
Maybe for you, it’s learning how to install a bird feeder.
Or maybe you’re creating a presentation to present to hundreds of people.
Whatever you’re up against, I’ve learned, you can’t give up!!
Step 3- Instead of fighting against the learning process, enjoy it!
Stop banging your head against the process. Are you having fun with what you’re doing?? If you’re not, step away. Look at it a different way by asking….”How can I make this fun?
When you bring lower energy to anything you do, there’s no where to go but the place you’re in or spiral down even further.
When you have fun at anything, your frequency goes up.
When things are fun, you feel supercharged able to take on the world.
Just look at what happens when you’re on vacation. Life slows down. Every part of the day seems to go smoothly. Everything is action pact full of fun even if you’re attempting something new.
This is the time to remember you were sent here with a skill level even to the tasks you’re wanting to take on.
Of course, there’s a bit of a learning curve. There is to every situation. Even on vacation you need to learn how to parasail before they let you go up.
Think about it….did you know how to glide in the sky before the first attempt?
Did you know how to be a mom or dad?
Did you have any idea how to develop a relationship?
Did you realize before you started writing, getting that book written would be like birthing a child?
Did you know raising a child would be so challenging and rewarding at the same time before you had kids?
Anything you attempt to do is challenging at first.
Whether the task is writing out of your comfort zone or making a birdhouse from scratch, you have the skill level to achieve what you desire. Otherwise you wouldn’t be thinking of creating what you’re about to create.
Step 4- Never stop doing.
Remember the first attempt is always the hardest. It’s always going to feel hard to put yourself out there doing something new. It just is. But it gets easier as you DO.
Never stop doing. As you do, you learn along the way making life easier as you go.
Doing is the motion that keeps your thoughts from swirling around in your head, keeping you firmly planted on that hamster wheel just thinking.
When you attempt without wondering how it will all turn out, is when you get off the wheel.
When you continue to DO, is when you succeed.
The key is to have fun while you’re doing. That’s when learning comes easy.
